Wooooow...
Havent been here in a while. But bare with me and read my whole post...please =)
But I swear, I have good reasons...Really....sooooo.....
REASON ONE:
School started...I mean my school is seriously unbelievable with the work load that they give us...I've considered dropping out because there is JUST TOO MUCH! -- although that will never happen because I have to go to collage/university..so...=)) tehe.
REASON TWO:
If you guys have been to my site before, you will know that I have 'book-mood-swings'...like, for about 2 months or so...maybe 3. I just havent been in the mood for reading. But I'm slowing getting back into it...--speaking of which, I need a serious update of what the new books are, or what the new/good books have come out during these 3 months...lollol...
REASON THREE:
I am just down right a lazy person...like, I'm supposed to be doing house chores and homework right now...Because I'm on AUTUMN BREAKK :))
*victory dance*
And yeah, those would be all of my reasons...
But I swear I will be coming back more, as I'm reading more again...
(ooh and btw, if you read previous posts you'll see that I couldnt finish the book 'Rumors'...yeah about that, I still havent finished it.....;) oopsies.....xP)

I Cant Read =(
Well, ok, I can read....durrhhh. lol.
But...I've been reading 'Rumors' by Anna Godbersen for over a week now...and out of 400 some odd numbers of pages do you wanna know where I ammm?
I'm on page 117!!
and I've been reading it for a week.
It never takes that long, I usually finish these types of books in 2 or 3 days!!
Its nothing against the book, I'm just never in the mood for reading that much right now. I think I've readed-my-self-out. =(
tehaha. Anyway I just wanted to let you guys know that, thats why I havent posted the review for Rumors yet....
But if you've read The Luxe, then I can tell you that in Rumors, I absolutly hate Lina...thats all I can say about the book right now.
I hate her sooo much *angry face*

Book Swing (as in Mood Swing) and Unbelievable
I know I havent posted anything here for a while. I was trying to get around to reviewing Unbelievable...but....yeah I dont have an excuse...
Anyway, I just havent been in the mood of reading lately...I've been reading rumors for about a week (?) maybe a bit less...but I'm only on about page 60-ish. I just dont really feel like reading these days...I've been reading a lot lately so maybe I just wanted a reading-break...
Pfff...but yeah. Anyway: Finally I will be reviewing Unbelievable: Its probably going to be crap (exquiise my french) so..........=D
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rating: 9/10
Behind Rosewood's grand facades, where the air smells like apples and Chanel No. 5 and infinity pools sparkle in landscaped backyards, nothing is as it seems. It was here, back in seventh grade, that five best friends shared everything - Seven jeans, MAC makeup, and their deepest, darkest secrets. For Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily, it was a dream come true...until Alison, the most beautiful of them all, suddenly vanished.
Now someone named A has turned their charmed lives into a living nightmare. Emily has been shipped off to her hyper-conservative cousins in Iowa. Aria is stuck living with her dad and his home-wrecker girlfriend. And spencer fears she had something to do with Alison's murder. But Hanna's fate is far worse than all of that - she's clinging to life in the hospital because she 'knew too much'.
With A's threats turning dangerous and Ali's killer still on the loose, the girls must uncover the truth - about A, about Ali, and about what happened to Hanna- before they become A's next victims. But as they unravel Rosewood's mysteries and secrets, will it bring an end to the horror...or is this just the beginning? [Review from the back of the book]
This book was good just like the other 3 books. Although I've heard that there are going to be 4 more books...and I think its REALLy stupid to drag this story out that much...and then if they change the story to like 4 different girls and then make it the same plot I think that'll be pathetic too...
Basically I just dont think that they should drag it out any more. This book should be the last...but besides that the book was really good. You find out who A and who Ali's killer is. So that was good..and yeah...just make sure you pick it up...and if you havent read this series at all, then you should pick up the first book: Pretty Little Liars. =)

Long Time, No See...
Hello fellow book-bloggers.
I know I havent posted a post for a while now, (5 days ;)) Thats just because I have no books to read until my order from Amazon comes.
Actually thats not true, I tried reading 'Good Night Nobody' By Jennifer Weiner, and I had hopes for this book. It seemed like it was going to be very good. The story is basically about a girl, whose friend is murdered, and she wants to solve the mystery. I thought that sounded pretty good.
Except it wasnt. It could be just because I was too tired to read the book ( I have been reading a lot lately) or just because it wasnt really good, but I only read up to page 30 when I decided to put it down.
So...so much for that book. I thought that my books from amazon would have come by then......but no.
So I picked up my last book that I could read that was on my shelf, which happened to be "When Lightening Strikes (1-800-WHERE-R-YOU)" series by Meg Cabot. And that actually turned out to be not so bad. I havent read it all yet, so a review of that book is yet to come. But my order from amazon still hasnt come, and its about 10 days after I oredered them (apparently they are supposed to come within 8-14 days after I order the books)......so I picked it up and started reading...I dont know if I'll finish it (I'm a slow reader) but its really good so far...
Its just about a girl who gets hit by lightening, and suddenly she has this power where she knows exactly where missing children are located. Then it said on the back that should she choose her power for good or bad....I dont exactly know how that part is coming in yet...but we'll see :)
Sooo...yeah, thats basically what I have been up to and why I havent posted anything lately...
I dont have a reason to make a new post because all I'm doing is trying to finish a book...hehe...
But soon, when finally my books arrive then that will be fun...lots of reviews comeing up. Within that order I finally got Rumors and Unbelievable (PLL #4) and I'm really excited for those two. I've been wanting to read those two books for a while...I have other books coming, just those are the two I'm looking forward to the most.
Ok...I'm rambling on and on so I'm thinking maybe I'll stop. lol.
Yours Truely,
Rachel<3

Update.
I'm so sorry.
I know, I suck as a blogger. I just dont update enough.
Anyway, school just finished so I should be back into the swing of things soon enough :)
I just started reading a whole new book for me called 'sweep'.
I've never heard of it, I just randomly saw it at the book store and decided to get it. I havent read it all so heres the very small description from the back:
Something is happening to me that I dont understand.
I see things, feel things in a new way. I can do things normal people cant do. Powerful things. Magickal things. It scares me.
I never chose to learn witchcraft. But I'm starting to wonder if witchcraft is choosing me
Its actually not such a bad book. Its just a quick read, so you guys should keep an eye out for it...if you see it at the book store, you should pick it up!
Lazy, Dreading Summer, and Listening to You and Me,
Rachel

Update & Eclipse <3
I havent been back to Bloggers for a quite a while now, and I'm very sorry. Just, I'm sure you're all in a situation simialr to mine, but the teachers are pilling up the projects and assignments.....on the last 2 weeks of school.
Thanks...teachers...thanks so much.
Deeply appriciated.
Anyway...on to a more *happy* subject, huh?....except no....
I'm here to tell you. That I.........
was
very
disappointed
by Eclipse.
ok, What the hell!?!? Are you kidding me!? I had HIGH hopes for this book....and it was shattered.
By the way, to anyone who hasnt read Eclipse, dispite my negativity towards the book, it was still a book better than many others that I have read...and if you havent read Twilight....your insane. Go to the book store, and buy a copy now...
ok... anyway. I wont be bothering with a review this time because I'm sure you guys have all read this book.....but.
Twilight was awesome. I'm still in love with this book....when I read New Moon, I was thinking "Ok....I'm sure that Stephinie was just..........you know...on the low...
AND THEN THIS?!?! Eclipse was very disappointing. In fact this whole series is getting so...repeative.
This is how I have seen EVERY SINGLE BOOK!
[Edward (L) Bella....OOh no, bad people come.....Edward saves the day......ooh yeah, Jacob causes some trouble...happy ever after.]
Like....de ja vu much?
Sorry...I'm just mad...and I'm very turned off right now *angry face*
Disappointed, mad, and slightly craving muffins,
Rachel.

To Authors: How to Promote Your Book =]
At 'Muffins.and.Books' I would be thrilled to help you promote your book on my site. I would prefer if these books were either Young Adult, or Teen Books...but if you have other books you would like to promote I will do just that =] At Muffins.and.Books readers vary from teens to adults, all over U.S, Canada, and even Japan (Thats me, I live in Japan ;)) There are many ways to promote your book at my site =]
You can send me a copy to read then review (however, if it is not avaliable to buy then you would have to be willing to send your book overseas...but if its avaliable to buy, then I can just buy it myself). Besides reviews, we can also have author interviews (over e-mail). If you are holding a contest please tell me, and I will spread the word (at sites such as: Book Divas, and on my site, and I will ask other people to spread the word aswell).
If you want to have a link to your website, then I will gladly do that. Or you can promote your book on my popular feature called 'Best Book of The Month'. Along with this, contests can be made for people to win your promoted book =]
If you have any questions or concerns (anything at all), or you would like to start promoting your book, please e-mail me at: simply-chillin@hotmail.com and I will get back to right away :)).

Update :)
Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all you lovely people that actually take time to read my blog =] Today I'm feeling rather...weird.
Not like CrAzY weird, more like, I-Dont-Really-Know-What-or-How-I-Feel-So-I-Feel-Weird...that kind of weird. Yeah...*sigh*
I'm ashamed to say this because I am a book reviewer/ blogger...BUT I honestly have no idea what good/new books are out there right now...so I would really appriciate it if you lovely people could take your time and write in my comment box, some book titles that you either recommened or that are rather new so I could catch up...
I have to say, after reading the book Prep...*shudders at the memory of actually reading the book*...anyway, so, after reading Prep (which was about 1 week ago) I dont feel like reading these days...if you know what I mean...Like I want to know what happens in these books, and I like the thought of reading, but I dont like the actual part of taking the time to read the words...I think after reading Prep, since it was such a disapointment, I dont even want to bother reading anymore ={ Its sad, because I do really enjoy reading.
But then again, I shouldnt blame it all on this single poor poor book.
I have another thing to say...not about Prep, no, I'm moving on from that subject now...but I really hate that most contests...I dont mean personal contests...like the one I'm holding (if you dont know about it click here) or the ones that ordinary teens takes the time to make (becasue we dont have a lot of money to ship it), no I mean the like contest held in Harperteen, or orginazations/companies like that. It really bugs me because those companies are so well off, and rich, I dont understand why they dont make international contests...
I know I'm just being greedy because I dont get to enter those fun compatitions but still...
Yeah, I just realized that I'm actually really bored, and I want to keep updating my blog...and posting new posts, and new book reviews, but I dont want to OVER post...if you know what I mean...I dont want to seem like a blog addict, and I dont want my lovely blog readers to stray away from my blog because I over post...
Saddly my obessession over blogs wont last for long...school will start up again soon, and then I will be extreamly lazy, and then soon there wont be any posts...so...yeah...but I will try.
Anyway, Now I'm just rambling, and you guys are probably getting bored of reading this...that is if you even are reading this...
So, please feel free to say anything in the comment box...ANYTHING at all, and please fill me in on new books, and books you recommend.
